Amit Patel
Registered Physiotherapist
Amit is an enthusiastic and resourceful physiotherapist who strives to empower patients to take a leading role in their healthcare. In Amit’s practice, he treats a variety of patients having musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Using the latest in clinical knowledge, he works to provide the highest quality of care for his patients to ease their pain, improve quality of life and get the best possible outcomes. His clinical interests include whiplash management, neck pain, lower back pain, knee and foot pain also treating pre and post operative patients, particularly knee, hip and shoulder.
Amit holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from South Gujarat University, India. Amit is also certified in Mulligan technique, which is one of the most effective techniques to manage any kind of joint pain.

Lindsay Bays
Registered Physiotherapist
Lindsay grew up in the Durham Region in a very active family and was involved in many sports from a young age. Her strong athletic background, combined with a keen interest in the human body and how it moves, led her to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University, graduating in 2009. She went on to complete her Master’s degree of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2012.
Since then, Lindsay has worked in various orthopaedic clinics around the Durham Region and has gained extensive experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in treating sports injuries, post-surgical conditions, and pelvic floor dysfunction (particularly in the pre/ post-natal and peri-menopause populations). Her approach to treatment is very hands on, with a focus on restoring function and re-training proper body mechanics. She uses a wide range of techniques, including soft tissue release and joint mobilizations, personalized exercise prescription, acupuncture, and patient education. She is very passionate about helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
Lindsay has pursued extensive post-graduate training to further enhance her skillset. She has advanced training in manual therapy, acupuncture, and various taping techniques. She has also completed pelvic health courses levels 1-3 through Pelvic Health Solutions and other courses related to women’s health and pregnancy.
Outside of the clinic, Lindsay enjoys staying active running, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two daughters.

Katie Dodington
Registered Physiotherapist
Katie completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2011, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University in 2009.
She has a special interest in pelvic health physiotherapy and is certified in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor conditions. Katie is passionate about supporting clients through concerns such as pregnancy and postpartum recovery, incontinence, pelvic pain, and returning to activity with confidence.
In addition to her pelvic health focus, Katie treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions by combining manual therapy, dry needling, and individualized exercise programs. She believes in working collaboratively with her patients, with a strong focus on education and helping them feel confident managing their symptoms and progressing toward their goals.
Katie has completed additional training in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, dry needling, the Mulligan Concept, the McKenzie Method and taping, and is committed to ongoing continuing education to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care.
Originally from the Durham Region, Katie grew up being active and playing sports and developed an early appreciation for movement. Outside of the clinic, she spends much of her time with her three young children, exploring sports, movement and adventure. The stage of life has strengthened her appreciation for keeping the body healthy and strong in order to be able to move in ways you love.

Victoria Chia
Registered Physiotherapist
Victoria is a physiotherapist who brings energy, empathy, and a strong athletic background into her practice. She completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2023, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University in 2017.
Growing up in the Durham Region, Victoria was always involved in sports and went on to play varsity soccer throughout university. She continues to play at a semi-professional level today, which fuels her passion for movement and performance. Her interest in physiotherapy started with a fascination for how resilient and adaptable the human body can be, but it was her hands-on experience helping people in her community reach their goals that truly solidified her path.
Victoria is known for her positive, down-to-earth approach and her ability to connect with her patients. She focuses on delivering individualized, patient-centered care that empowers people to take an active role in their health. Her treatment style blends education, manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, and tailored exercise programming.
She has a special interest in working with active individuals—from athletes to regular gym-goers—as well as older adults looking to stay strong, independent, and engaged in their daily lives. As a certified Pilates instructor, she also integrates clinical Pilates into her sessions when appropriate.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Victoria staying active—whether that’s playing soccer, cycling, going for a run, or getting outdoors whenever she can. She’s also a self-proclaimed foodie who’s always appreciative of a good recommendation.

Bram van Bommel
Registered Massage Therapist
Bram is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Centennial College’s 3 year Advanced Diploma Massage Therapy program. Bram is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is also a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Bram’s focus in Massage Therapy is to help people achieve their goals through treatment that is collaborative, educational, and effective. His own experiences with sports-related injuries have led him to continually seek out techniques and strategies that can help others mitigate injury and better recover from their sport-related injuries. He uses his assessment skills to help athletes, of any level, proactively recognize their personal areas of strength & weakness in order to pursue training programs that mitigate typical sport-related injuries in the future. This ensures that athletes are able to perform at optimal levels for the greatest length of time. Having played sports for a number of years at very competitive levels, Bram understands the benefits of Massage Therapy and is able to bring them to people who need rehabilitation and maintenance in order to achieve their own personal best at an amateur or professional level.
Bram joined the medical team for the Toronto Argonauts in 2015 and was part of the medical team during the 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games. In addition, he was proud to be apart of the medical team for the Invictus games in 2017.
Bram also has experience working with a variety of patients who have experienced motor vehicle accidents, work place injuries, overuse injuries, and general tension & stress.
In treatment, Bram uses a variety of techniques to achieve the best results for the ultimate goal of the patient. The techniques include Swedish massage, pre/post sports massage, K-Tape, rhythmic and joint mobilizations, deep tissue, trigger point release, PNF and passive stretching, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage. Bram is trained in Functional Range Release (FR Spine) and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). Bram continues to advance his education by taking regular courses to improve upon the strong foundation he has created for himself.

Shannon Simon
Registered Massage Therapist
Shannon graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2004, and has been working as a Massage Therapist in a multidisciplinary setting for 16 years. Over the years she has treated many clients who have had joint replacements, been involved in motor vehicle accidents as well as work related injuries. She has additional training in pregnancy massage, myofascial release and has taken several courses in orthopaedic injuries and whiplash related injuries. Shannon is comfortable working with infants and babies and has experience treating both. When treating clients, Shannon uses numerous Swedish Massage techniques and is able to offer deep tissue work in combination with relaxation techniques. Her belief is that it’s important to activate the clients parasympathetic nervous system to promote overall relaxation and well being.

Ana Norori
Physiotherapy Assistant
Ana graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology. After taking time to raise her young family, she returned to school and completed Durham College’s Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program in 2023, graduating at the top of her class – an experience she found incredibly rewarding.
Ana has been part of the OWC team since 2023, working as a Physiotherapist Assistant alongside multiple physiotherapists. She is passionate about providing safe, client-centered care and enjoys helping patients work toward their goals through modalities, education, and rehabilitative exercise.
Ana also plays a key role at the clinic as a prenatal class instructor, where she guides expecting moms through rehabilitative exercises to support their health and well-being. In addition, she is OWC’s certified compression stocking and brace fitter and holds a micro-credential in therapeutic taping (2025). She is always looking for opportunities to continue learning and grow within her role.
Outside the clinic, Ana is a busy mom of four who enjoys staying active, gardening, and cooking up a storm.
