C-SECTION SCAR RELEASE THERAPY
The Dolphin Neurostim™ is an innovative technology used to quickly and effectively release cesarean (C-Section) scar tissue, resulting in a noticeable reduction in scar visibility as well as decreased pain and tightness.
What is the Dolphin Neurostim™
The Dolphin Neurostim™ utilizes Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS), which is a Health Canada and FDA approved treatment for cesarean section scar release and pain relief that is based on the scientific concept of increasing the skin’s inter-cellular metabolism and protein synthesis to improve its ability to heal and regenerate.
By targeting direct cellular stimulation of microcurrent waves through the scars, this quick and easy procedure releases the tense scar tissue resulting in a significant reduction of dermal trauma, adhesions and fascial restrictions.
How C-Section Scar Release Therapy at Oshawa Wellness works
The treatment involves applying a safe low level electrical impulse to each side of the cesarean scar using the Dolphin Neurostim™. The microcurrent helps relax and subsequently fade scar tissue, resulting in a visible reduction of the scars appearance. That’s right – you will notice a significant visual and physical change in the scar immediately after your first treatment!
Why Scar Release Therapy? Avoid the hidden implications of scars…
Restore Circulation
Scars block circulation and energetic flows through the meridian system resulting in stagnate energy and circulation in extremities, especially lower extremities.
Reduce Sympathetic Stress
Scars upregulate the sympathetic nervous system, producing stress and decreasing Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Rebalance Hormones
Scars negatively influence hormones by activating sympathetic stress, which elevate cortisol & suppress sex-hormones.
Mitigate Chronic Pain
Scars injure Fascia, which is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone and muscle in place. Thus, causing “kinks” that ripple throughout the body causing chronic pain and structural imbalances.
Improve Performance
Scars create internal adhesions inside the body. These adhesions reduce muscle and organ performance, producing and restricting proper movement.
